The City of Pembroke Launches the Parks and Recreation Master Planning Process

The City of Pembroke, in partnership with K.A. Community Consulting, are creating a new Parks and Recreation Master Plan. The process kicks off this in September and the final plan will be presented to Council in 2024.

The Combined Committee approved staff to work with the Ontario SPCA representatives to offer feline wellness clinics offering free spay/neuter services to City of Pembroke rescue organizations and ensure all felines obtain a City of Pembroke pet tag.

Council Briefs, July 11, 2023 Combined Committee Request - The Grind - Garden Project
Committee denied a request from The Grind to initiate a garden project. Staff was directed to inform The Grind of the decision and to offer an option of taking a raised garden planter box at the Community Garden.
Parking Area for The GrindCommittee approved five public parking spaces in front of The Grind, which includes one accessible space. The remaining five parking spaces will be reserved for The Grind.
