The Pembroke Fire Department is teaming up with Co-operators, CanOps, and the National Fire Protection Association® (NFPA®) to promote this year’s Fire Prevention Week™ campaign, “Fire Won’t Wait. Plan Your Escape.™” This year’s campaign, Oct. 9-15, works to educate everyone about the simple but important steps they can take to keep themselves and those around them safe.

Intersection of Reynolds Avenue and Lea Street Temporarily converted to 3-Way Stop
Effective immediately, the intersection of Reynolds Avenue and Lea Street will be temporarily converted to a 3-way stop until Friday, October 7th, 2022. Motorists are to obey posted signage.

City of Pembroke Private Property Tree Planting Incentive Program 2022
Eligible property owners may receive up to 50% of their purchase of any trees, with a maximum of two trees per property owner, and up to a maximum rebate of $150.00
To qualify for a rebate, pick up an application form from the Operations Department at 460 River Road. The application form is also available here.

For the protection of the travelling public due to construction activities, effective today, Wednesday, September 21, 2022, until further notice, Bennett Street will be closed to southbound traffic from Everett Street, River Road, and Townline Road. Access to Bennett Street local traffic will only be via Boundary Road.
The City of Pembroke asks that drivers always respect the posted construction signage. The traveling public is encouraged to use alternate routes.
