Licencing your pet
The City requires that all dogs and cats over the age of three months be licensed. We may ask for proof of sterilization to obtain the sterilized fee. Licences must be renewed no later than March 31 of each year. Failure to obtain a licence by the due date can result in a $100 fine.
Submit the completed form in person with payment to City Hall.

By keeping your pet's licence current, you increase their chances of being reunited with you if they ever become lost. Animal Control Officers have the ability to check your dog or cat licences and return them home should they become lost. Be sure to keep your pet's licence attached to their collar.
Off-leash dog park
The Bark Park is the City of Pembroke's off-leash dog park. This open space park provides an opportunity for dog lovers to be social with their pets. The Bark Park is open from dawn until dusk and is a smoke-free space.
Off-leash dog park tags are required to use the facility. Tags are $10 including HST and can be purchased at City Hall.
