Jim Sloan Memorial Ball Hockey Tournament |
The Jim Sloan Memorial Ball Hockey Tournament, proudly sponsored every year by Bogies Bar, is a spirited community event held every spring that honors the legacy of Jim Sloan—a dedicated volunteer passionate about youth and sports development. All proceeds from the tournament go directly to the Boys & Girls Club (BGC), supporting local programs that help young people stay active and engaged.

Each year on November 11, Pembroke holds a Remembrance Day ceremony at War Memorial Park starting at 10:45 a.m. The event honors veterans, active service members, and those who sacrificed for our country.
