Free Parents & Tot's Public Skate When: 10:30-11:30am Where: Pembroke Memorial Centre (393 Pembroke Street West) SNOW Walk & Talk with the Active Living Centre When: 1 p.m. Where: Pembroke Memorial Centre (393 Pembroke Street West), Meet at the Parking Lot Entrance The Pembroke Active Living Centre invites people to join them for the SNOW Walk & Talk. Bring your snowshoes or just walk in your regular boots! A limited number of snowshoes will be available for free rental. Go for a walk and then warm up with free hot chocolate and tea in the PMC Activity Room!

New Date: February 23rd, 12:00 - 2:00 pm Where: Pembroke Memorial Centre (393 Pembroke Street West) Build-a-Bear is coming to Pembroke to participate in our SnoSpree Festivities! The Furry friends arrive pre-stuffed but not stitched closed so that our fully trained bear builder associates can perform the iconic heart ceremony, bringing the furry friends to life! Each Bear will receive a customizable Birth Certificate, and a Cub Condo! Participants will also receive a SnoSpree T-Shirt for their bears, which they can customize on-site with fabric markers and stencils! Register now by going to www.pembroke.ca/booking. SnoSpree Central Activities will include: - A free skate and hotdogs generously provided by the Pembroke Professional Firefighter Association - Crafts that you can do as a family, Courtesy of the Pembroke Parks & Recreation Office, Pembroke Library and BGC Renfrew. - Mini-games to spark a friendly, family competition. Snow Sculpture Challenge! All Week!
Build your favourite snow sculpture, take a photo, and send it to recreation@pembroke.ca for your chance to win a telescope! Deadline to submit is Monday, February 17th at 4pm. The winner will be contacted on February 19th.
