Fireworks Postponed - July 1, 2023
On June 30th and July 1st join the City of Pembroke as we celebrate Canada's birthday! The Canada Day festivities will begin on June 30th at Riverside Park Beach, featuring a bonfire and entertainment before a featured film shown on soccer field #4 at dusk.
Our Beach party at Riverside Park on June 30th,2023 5:30-9:30pm. Live Music by the Ghost town Cryers, beach activities, free BBQ and an outdoor movie at 9:30pm, The Super Mario Bros. Movie.
On July 1st join the City as we host children and family activities in the afternoon at the Pembroke Waterfront before an array of fireworks in the evening at Riverside Park.
The festivities on July 1st will begin with the Opening Ceremony taking place behind the amphitheater at 12:00 p.m., followed by the Pembroke Legion community band at 12:30 p.m. and an indigenous speaker/drum performance at 1:30pm on the Amphitheatre stage.
From 12:00-4:00 p.m. at Waterfront Park (Pembroke Marina), families can enjoy a variety of exciting activities including bouncy castles, a small animal petting zoo, inflatables and water activities from Ry-J’s, Craft and Food Vendors, displays and more!
Live entertainment will continue at the amphitheater throughout the afternoon with performances by Gillan Rutz at 2:00 p.m., Doug Barr Children’s show at 3:00pm, Mark Clearview at 4:00 p.m., The All-Canadian Surf Club at 5:30 p.m., Evil Creek at 7:00 p.m., and Jake Weckwerth at 8:30 p.m.
Our day of celebration will then conclude with the annual fireworks show at Riverside Park beginning at 10:00 p.m.
Due to the current provincial fire ban, all activities involving fire are subject to cancellation, including but not limited to Fireworks.
