
The Pembroke Fire Department (PFD) received a report of structure fire on Reynolds Avenue at approximately 2:20 a.m. Saturday, March 22. PFD initially responded with one truck and the duty crew.
The fire was well established on the first and second floors upon arrival. With heavy smoke throughout the structure, PFD began an aggressive fire attack and quickly brought the fire under control. Significant smoke and heat damage was sustained throughout the home.
Working smoke alarms resulted in early detection and successful escape of the loan occupant and their pet.
A total of 15 Fire fighters with 3 fire apparatus responded to this incident.
