City of Pembroke Planned Temporary Traffic Disruption Notice for Leahey Street July 25, 2024
Effective July 25th from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, Leahey Street will be closed to traffic between Townline Road and Ellis Avenue for culvert and ditching work. The City of Pembroke asks that drivers respect the posted construction signage at all times.
The travelling public is encouraged to use alternate routes.
We thank you for your patience as the City of Pembroke continues to improve our infrastructure.

New lights brighten up The Rapids Skate Park

Local skateboarders can now enjoy a better and longer skating day thanks to a collaborative effort that has brought new lights to The Rapids Skate Park in downtown Pembroke.
Spearheaded by Colony Skate Shop’s Tanner Hogan and Deputy Mayor Brian Abdallah, the project brought together partners in the City of Pembroke Parks and Recreation Department, Ottawa River Power Corporation (ORPC), and an anonymous donor to bring it accomplish it.

Planned Road Closure for Bennett Street between Everett Street and Boundary Road July 8th to July 26th, 2024.Effective July 8th Bennett Street will be closed to traffic between Everett Street and Boundary Road for infrastructure works.
Emergency services vehicles and local traffic will be permitted in this location. Absolutely no through traffic will be permitted.
Detours will be in place. Access to businesses on Boundary Road will be via Paul Martin Drive.
