City of Pembroke – Planned Traffic Disruption Notice for McGee Street –Between James Street and Boundary RoadEffective immediately, August 27, 2025, until Friday August 29, 2025, McGee Street between James Street and Boundary Road will be closed to traffic to facilitate road construction.
Only emergency services vehicles and local traffic will be permitted in this location.

Update on fire ban for the City of Pembroke

Although the City of Pembroke received a small amount of rain over the weekend, it was not enough to lessen the risk of wildfires. We will continue to minimize this risk by keeping the full ban on recreational fires in effect.

Updated Watering Restrictions Effective Immediately
The City of Pembroke would like to take this opportunity to remind residents that the Water Restriction By-Law is in effect from May 15th to September 15th, 2025.
Due to the extreme dry conditions, please help us conserve water where possible to avoid further restrictions being applied.
Properties with Even numbered addresses can only water lawns and gardens on Even calendar days between the hours of 6:00am and 10:00am and 6:00pm and 10:00pm.
