The region’s best showcase of local businesses, organizations, and services returns to the Pembroke Memorial Centre this May.
Pembroke Community Expo, presented by Integrated Health Centre, is a two-day event that allows people to discover or rediscover the great range of products, services, opportunities, and attractions available to them in their backyard.
Doors are open from 4-8 p.m. Friday, May 10, and from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, May 11. Attendance is free.
A new addition this year is a focus on Indigenous businesses and organizations through a partnership with Kitchissippi Productions. Come engage with Indigenous makers, community builders, and entrepreneurs and learn all about the great work they are doing.
"We're thrilled to join forces for this year's Pembroke Community Expo and help bring a spotlight to the many Indigenous-owned businesses in our region," says Dorian Pearce, owner and creative director of Kitchissippi Productions. "This event is a great opportunity for folks to discover the vibrant mosaic of businesses and organizations within our community."
In addition to learning about local resources, attendees can also enjoy food on site, games and activities, and entertainment throughout the course of the weekend.
The Pembroke Community Expo is hosted by The City of Pembroke, the Pembroke Business Improvement Area, and Kitchissippi Productions and is made possible with the support of Integrated Health Centre and Pikwakanagan Fuels.
