Burning Permits

A by-law is in place to regulate recreational open-air burning in the City of Pembroke.

A site inspection of your property is required prior to the issuance of a permit. For a permit application, contact or visit the Pembroke Fire Department. Permits are valid for 12 months, from January 1 to December 31 of the same year. Permit fees are $110 for new permits and $60 for permit renewals. Payment can be made by credit, debit, cash, or cheque during business hours.

Additionally, propane and natural gas heating appliances are permitted at residences within the City of Pembroke.
