Taxi licence application packages can be picked up at City Hall, 1 Pembroke St. E.
City of Pembroke Taxi By-law 2016-15
The application package contains a list of required documents, a letter to submit to the O.P.P. for your vulnerable sector check, an application for taxi licence, as well as the by-law to establish rules and regulations for the licencing and operation of taxicabs within the City of Pembroke.
Documents required to complete individual taxi application:
- Two passport size photos
- Letter of intent to hire from employer
- MTO driver's abstract from MTO Pembroke (400 Pembroke St. E., Pembroke)
- Vulnerable sector check from Pembroke OPP (77 International Dr., Pembroke)
- Completed Taxi Driver Application
Return all of the above documents to our Planning, Building and By-law Department at City Hall, 1 Pembroke St. E.
